• So you are heading off on that big trip. You have had your vehicle service and checked for the trip. Now you have to pack your vehicle.

• By following this check list it may just remind you of something you have forgotten. The list has been developed from a number of exiting lists. Invariably it will be shorter for one or two day trips closer to home and of course, it should be modified to suit your vehicle and individual requirements.

• If you are travelling in the company of other vehicles, you may be able to distribute the spares between vehicles if they are of similar specification. Similarly, recovery gear and tools may be shared to reduce overall weight and bulk.

• The list is planned to be updated regularly. If you have any suggestion for additions/changes, please let the Committee know.
