| While camping is possible at this site it is not encouraged. Best suited to the launching of canoes to explore the upper Shoalhaven River. Flat areas suitable for camping lie along the sandy banks of the river but there is more shade beneath gums on level, higher ground along the track just before it drops down onto the sand.
