| Large grassy camping area, with shade trees and lots of space between the camp sites. There are several toilets and a shower or two, and a brick-built “donkey” which you need to fire up if you want a hot shower. Plenty of wood-fired barbecues and tables made from railway sleepers. Situated 25km north of Lyndhurst SA on the road to Marree, Farina is now a ghost town. Established in 1882 as a farming centre and railhead for wool and cattle, its name is Latin for wheat or flour.
