General comments
Marla has a population of 120 and boasts a police station (tel (08) 8575 1202). Just west of Marla are the Mintabie Opal Fields, which produces South Australia's only 'Black Opal'. Upsides
Convenient to Stuart Highway, good array of services, friendly people. Grassed areas in campground for sitting/relaxing (they are fenced off and you need to park on the gravel areas adj.... Remainder of the content is available on the CampGroundCorner CD

Downsides
The unpowered camping area (ie tent area) is relatively poorly provided for – just a very basic and rustic “shade sh.... Remainder of the content is available on the CampGroundCorner CD
