General comments
One of the great Australian sand driving experiences, the Border Track follows reasonably closely the South Australian/Victorian border between the Mallee Highway (B12) in the north and the Western Highway (A8) in the south. However the trek described here is for the section of track from the Mallee Highway to Emu Flat Road which exits to the Pinnaroo Bordertown Road (B57).

LRC Recommendation
This is not the track to tackle alone as some of the sand is deep and soft - even softer if it hasn't rained for a while. While campertrailers are permitted on the track it is best to leave.... Remainder of the content is available on the CampGroundCorner CD
