General comments
Large picnic area close to the southern end of Googong Dam. Very good shelter with new electric BBQs and plenty of picnic tables for a large group. Several activities possible h.... Remainder of the content is available on the CampGroundCorner CD

Attractions
As well as the picnic area, there are bird hides on the small dam 200m N of the picnic area; a track leads east to the headwaters of the dam where you can put in your canoe or fish for trout, redfin and the elusive cod (dam is stocked periodically); a walking or mountain bike trail leads north for 10 km to t.... Upsides

History on the area
Googong Dam was constructed on farming land - mainly the Googong and London Bridge properties. Tin Hut is at the site of the small homestead for London Bridge prop.... Remainder of the content is available on the CampGroundCorner CD
