As well as using the maps to find a site, you can browse through a
list of CGC sites. It’s faster to find a site this way than using the
CGC maps if you know its name but are not sure of its location. The sites
are listed alphabetically and ordered by the type (e.g. campground or trek)
and then the site name, as a national list and as lists for each State /
Territory. Click on your area of interest:
The facilities available at each site are shown by a row of icons.
On the left hand side of the table are some icons that are used for
getting site details or map.
Description of navigation / description icons:
Short
description of the site
Jump to the site information
sheet
Jump to a map showing the location of
the site
When you have no specific destination in mind, you can step through
the sites one by one to browse for places which interest you. To find out
where they are in map form, click on to get to a level 4 (detailed) map,
and start planning your trip!
