Yeah yeah – Just install the driver

Driver general

The Windows version of the driver is provided under a re-distribution license from Adobe. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the version provided is free of viruses or other problems, LRC ACT accepts no liability whatsoever for the use or misuse of the mapping driver supplied with the CGC CD. The version of the driver is as supplied from Adobe. The driver can also be downloaded from the internet at http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install/

Below are the steps encountered during the installation of the driver. The driver install can be started by running

            ?:\extra\svg\SVGView.exe

Topic

After starting the driver install program, your operating window will most likely give a security warning. At this point you must choose if you want to run the program.

This is your choice and your responsibility.

If you choose not to install the driver, maps will not be available. However the contents can still be view by Browsing the lists of entries.

After passing the windows security warning, Adobe will also ask you if you want to run the driver install software

Once the driver install is completed the ‘setup’ window will close automatically.

When you open your first map you will be requested to accept or decline the use of the driver. Declining will mean that the driver and therefore, CampGroundCorner maps, will not be available.

Browser settings

Once installed you are ready to use the maps. Some Internet Explorer settings can cause you to have to click a message every time you load a page.

There are a few settings you can select to improve performance - see Browser settings
