Google Earth

CampGroundCorner contains data files to enable you to view the CGC locations and link to documents from Google Earth. To use Google Earth you will have to download and install it on your PC. The data files are located on the CD in the folder ‘?:\extra\googleearth\’. These files have a file extension of .kml.

Double clicking or opening a file in Google Earth will load the CGC locations. Use the file name which identifies the drive that your CGC CD is currently loaded in. Click on a location and use the ‘View data sheet’ link to see CGC details. Under the ‘places box’, you can select whether the different CGC site types are visible.
