Potential members are required to attend one club trip prior to
joining. Review the Calendar and contact
the Trip Coordinator to book on a trip (contact details are included in the
calendar). Advise the Trip Coordinator that you are a visitor to the
club. He will check that your 4WD experience is suitable for the trip
you have selected.
The club has a number of UHF radios that may be borrowed by potential
new members.
Once you've been on a trip, fill in an application form (available from
the Membership Secretary) and return it to the Membership Secretary or post
it to the LRC, PO Box 419, Civic Square ACT 2608.
Your application is then notified in the following LRC newsletter and is
voted on at the next Ordinary Meeting.
If successful, you then pay your Membership Fee to the Membership
Secretary. A members pack is then provided to you, containing Membership
Card, vehicle sticker, name tags etc. If you are unable to attend the
next meeting, please advise the Membership Secretary so your pack may be
posted to you.
Ordinary Meetings are held on the first Monday of each
month at 8.00pm at the Eastlake Football Club. Meetings are not held on
public holidays. When the first Monday is a public holiday the
meeting is moved to the next Monday that is not a public holiday.
No invitation is required and guests with an interest in
4WD activities are most welcome to attend.
Eastlake Football Club is located at 3 Oxley Street, Griffith, ACT
2603. Members and visitors who are not members of Eastlake Football
Club must sign in at the reception desk located in the entry foyer.
Meetings are held in the large room at the top of the main stairs. Many
members have a meal and a drink in the club before the meetings. You are
very welcome to join us.
