General Policies
Public Behavior
- In addition to the policies stated below, members must abide by any special conditions or restrictions placed on entry to an area by the owner or controller of the property.
- Every effort must be made by members to assist in the protection of flora, fauna and landforms in all areas visited.
- Fires must not be lit without the permission of the trip leader and the use of fire must comply with fire regulations at the time.
- No firearm or explosive is to be used or displayed on outings.
- No pets are to be brought on outings.
- All rubbish must be conveyed to where it can be disposed of in a proper receptacle and no litter at all is to be left behind.
- No racing, speed trial or driving in a manner which could be construed as competition between drivers is allowed on country outings.
- Drivers should refrain from drinking alcohol during the course of the day's travel and passengers should show restraint.
Road Safety
- All vehicles on outings must be registered and in a roadworthy condition, and drivers must be licensed for the class of vehicle being driven.
- Seat belts must be worn.
- Riding on the exterior of vehicles should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.
- No vehicle shall detour from the track into surrounding property unless to deviate around an immovable or hazardous object.
- Any damage to a track should be repaired before moving from that point.
- All gates and property entrances should be left as found.
